Remember For Me

As I was not there for the day of the Remembrance Day assemblies, so I will be commenting on the question of what remembrance day is to me. To me remembrance day is a time when we reflect on all that the soldiers and peacekeepers do and have done for us. I feel that this day is the way we give thanks and appreciation for all that they have done and continue to do for us. It's a day of celebration and sorrow, celebratory in the way to see how far we've come compared to what we were before we had people protecting and bringing peace. It is a time of sorrow. For the people who have been lost, but also a time of gratitude for all of those who died for the sake of their country. We remember, and we continue to be thankful. That is what remembrance day is to me, a time of reminiscing and appreciation.

  1. Sigh. I am concerned because I don't see your writing improving without a lot of support from me. Are you rushing? Is it lack of focus because you know I will point out the errors? I'd love to see a perfect posting.
    - Remembrance Day assemblies - capitals in all cases, it's a proper noun
-, so I will be commending
    - Day is a day - sounds repetitive, how about Day is a time
    - when we reflect - a day is a time = when
    - protectors of the people? that's a clumsy way to say soldiers and/or peacekeeprs
    - appreciation for all - no to all
    - It's a day of... no That to begin
    - period after sorrow
