A Poem To Me, Makes Me Feel Free

To explain what a poem is to me what shall the first line be
Something filled with passion and hard work, where your mind can be free
A poem lets you escape from your day
Let whatever's bothering you fade away
Freeing you from your overpowering thoughts
Getting rid of the sick feeling from those stress knots
A poem to me opens my mind
It provides peace for me to find
Nothing out of the ordinary or crazy
Makes you have to think, no more being lazy
The messages are powerful and deep
The words don't come cheap
It has taught me how to express myself in a whole new way
Maybe even to brighten up someone's day
Using un-common words
Letting my speech fly free as birds
I feel comfortable to rhyme more
I don't care if you think I'm a bore
Poems are a powerful thing
To me relief is what they bring

Understanding It

How can you, as the manager of your own education, ensure that school assignments meet your needs? Is there are way to meet the instructor's expectation, while also following your own interests? This is the question I was asked and this is my response... As the manager of my own education, I can ensure that school assignments meet my needs by getting them done in plenty of time before the due date, that way I can focus on other projects to do the same operation over again. This leaves room for error and corrections to be made. The way to meet the instructors expectations is to religiously follow the rubric then do more than what you were asked. Use bigger words make yourself sound smarter than you actually talk. Trying is key, trying will get you marks. The way to build on the last topic while also keeping your own interests in mind isn’t based on whether you get to pick the topic of the project or you get it given to you by the teacher. What you must do is pick the side of whatever topic you are given or choose and passionately finish your points. Following this information I have just shared you will be able to manage your assignments, meet the instructors expectations and follow your own interests.

Benjamin Franklin

January 1706 - April 1790

Leading author, printer, political theorist, politician.

"Either write something worth reading or do something worth writing."

Although there wasn't much information on Benjamin Franklin directed towards the author aspect of his life, there was a lot of information about how he was a well rounded man who respected by many. This quote "Either write something worth reading or do something worth writing" speaks to me no matter who the author is. To me this quote is very powerful in the sense that it explains don't write about something you aren't passionate about or enjoy, because your readers won't enjoy it either. For those who write with passion and joy their readers will read their writing with passion and joy as well. The "do something worth writing" part of the quote speaks to me as well because i think if you are writing about something that you don't like then who will like to read it, no one. This quote in its self is very powerful, and a easy incept to understand. I enjoy this quote very much because it is relatable and a true to every type of writer.
